 if libiconv is installed, it’s going to be necessary to force the build to
 ignore it, as above…. the maintainer is aware of this lbiconv issue.

 luckily, as of yesterday, there is a buildbot for arm ventura. It builds
 alex without any libiconv being installed, so no problem.

 you should be able to just install that binary now, assuming you have the
 default install prefix
