 In /Applications/MacPorts/EmacsMac.app/Contents/Resources/lisp/progmodes
 the idlwave library depends on several files, one of which  (idlw-
 bindings.el) is missing. This causes the symbol "idlwave-code-abbrev" to
 be 'void'.

 idlwave has been unmaintained for quite some time (a few years, I think),
 so there shouldn't have been any changes that would result in the removal
 of this file. And there are failures from other parts of the library which
 clearly expect this macro to be defined. My suspicion is that this is
 simply an oversight.
