Comment (by amake):

 A file by that name (`idlw-bindings.el`) doesn't exist in the Emacs
 source. It's plausible it could be generated at build time, but I also
 note in the changelog:

 >       (idlwave-code-abbrev): Delete macro.

 So I don't really know how this stuff is supposed to work, but it looks
 like you're expecting things to look like they did pre-2021.
