Comment:

 No, it's not currently possible, see #67652. You can install with
 build_arch=x86_64, but that will unnecessarily run under Rosetta.
 Theoretically it shouldn't be too hard to modify the portfile to build a
 cross-compiler, but then it won't be able to target the host arch.
