 I already did that, it works, but I do not want to carry a silly local
 fix. These developer (and we as pre-release etc.) builds are documented by
 Apple, so yes, it is a bug in the code, and it has nothing to do with 10.6
 PPC which you dislike so much for some reason – it will break the build on
 any purely Intel developer build likewise.
