 I am not sure which specifically change created an issue, but I believe
 that, for example, `darwinbuild` may be broken now on Intel (it is broken
 on PPC too, but for a totally different reason):

 (Need to verify, away from Intel machine right now. It might be working,
 who knows; last time I tried was a while ago.)
