 I'm grateful Clemens was at least able to narrow this down to perhaps the
 build bots'? Especially since I don't have any privileges within that part
 of MacPorts. I haven't been able to reproduce it locally either.

 For reference, here is my output of xcodebuild -version:

 Build version 14E222b
 }}}

 I did see an Xcode command line tools update yesterday, but I couldn't say
 whether that may be related.

 This does have me wondering if this was perhaps related to the issues
 encountered in this issue as well: https://trac.macports.org/ticket/67442
