 The only clean thing to do here to prevent folks from shooting themselves
 in the foot trying to install cctools with impossible llvm variants would
 be to make all the unbuildable variants invisible on systems where they
 can't be built.

 That turns out to be more of a project that you would think, as these llvm
 variants are used to generate the list of clang versions that can be used
 for the assembler modification, and they are intertwined rather deeply
 into the portfile code.
