 I plan to mark the port obsolete on old OSes; this is a compute
 /performance-intensive package, and I doubt there is any actual interest
 in running it on these old systems.

 I'm just waiting for the buildbots to finish to see where to draw the
 line. I had the bad luck of slotting in right behind a rust upgrade, which
 is taking a long time.
