 It looks better, but there is still an overlay of some debug log window.
 Your modifications changed the size and position of if, but did not remove
 it. So it might be that if this window is removed, the changes are not
 required.

 The preferences window is back btw. This time I can reproduce it even when
 I delete the settings file.
