 When trying to pass the {{{-fsanitize=address}}} flag, gcc fails to
 compile (fails to link actually) with the error
 {{{
 ld: library not found for -lasan
 collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
 }}}
 It isn't packaged within {{{libgcc}}} either.
