New description:
Hi,
when I start `octave --gui` from my home directory I get a bunch of lines
like:
{{{
023-03-15 12:09:55.982 octave-gui[2006:42453] Path given to -[NSWorkspace
iconForFile:] is not a full path.
}}}
in the octave command window.
If I click out of the octave window (outside all the octave panels) I get
a similar line (one) and when I click back into any of the octave panels I
get one similar line in the command window.
However, if I start `octave --gui` in a directory with a name starting
with '.' I get none of these odd lines on startup or when I click in and
out of the window. But if I change directory the lines and behaviour noted
previously recurs.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled all dependencies and octave with no
joy.
Any help would with solving this problem would be wonderful.
Thanks,\\
Glenn
