 Thanks for checking on my report. I had not heard about LibreSSL before. I
 re-installed the port `openssh @9.3p1_0+xauth` without the Kerberos
 variant, and it still gives a segmentation fault on my Intel Mac.
 Curiously, the ssh program from the same openssh version with the
 `+kerberos5` variant works fine on my new M1 Mac, also on macOS 13.3.1
 (a).

 Can I just install LibreSSL or do I have to uninstall `openssl` first? I
 had not heard of LibreSSL before.
