 Searching for this error message, I found
 [https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/install-with-pkg-file-
 failed.2367425/ this forum thread] with some suggestions.

 One user said reinstalling Ventura fixed it. That seems like a pain so
 maybe try that last if the other suggestions don't work.

 One user said moving the installer package from the Downloads folder to
 the Applications folder before trying to open it worked.

 One user said the problem was that they were using Dropbox, which takes
 over the Downloads, Documents, and Desktop folders, so they suggest moving
 the installer package anywhere but those locations.

 Let us know what worked!
