 I have now added your change to my branch, and rebased it against the
 current state of the `macports-ports` repository.

 Can you re-pull that and try it again? The branch, now with your change as
 well as the two cherry-picked from upstream, still works for my use cases.

 If it works for yours as well, I can move forward with getting it merged
 into the main line (I can't do that directly).
