 Ok, `/opt/local/bin/gimp` is the correct command to start gimp. Do not
 type `open /opt/local/bin/gimp`.

 `Cannot open display` typically means you have not installed an X11
 server. One way to install one is `sudo port install xorg-server` and
 follow the instructions in the notes that will be displayed. You'll at
 least have to log out and log back in afterward.
