 FWIW still fails with new luajit 2.1.1700008891

 I don't know what to expect of this issue and do not really understand the
 cause or even the factors leading to the failure.

 Building neovim from a Github release 0.9.4 worked for me.

 It was not fully straightforward when there was faffing around with
 options to make/cmake (-DLIBLUV_INCLUDE_DIR=/opt/local/include
 -DLIBLUV_LIBRARY=/opt/local/lib/libluv.dylib) but at least there is a
 working editor for me now
