 I installed `opensslw at 3.2.0_0` on my Mac running High Sierra.  (I have not
 tried building using `clang-11`)

 It does NOT work  Same errors as with Lion and Mtn Lion:

 openssl-3 list -providers
 ERROR: Memory allocation
 }}}

 etc.
