 I can figure out where they originate at all, but the correct (in a sense
 which is actually generated) file is
 `4FE85CCBEEFF39F2BD6E1F04E9C21CB141D1D51B` (vs
 `FE85CCBEEFF39F2BD6E1F04E9C21CB141D1D51B`).
