 Okay, so `cairo-devel` has been updated to 1.18, with the pkgconfig file
 fixes.

 @behinder, if you want to test with that, do the following:

 {{{
 $ sudo port -f deactivate cairo
 $ sudo port install cairo-devel
 }}}

 Once that's done, re-run your pkgconfig test, and report back with the
 results.
