 The last eo release was in 2012. On the eo project's page:

 https://sourceforge.net/projects/eodev/

 it says:

 > As of 2022-01-04, this project can be found here:
 https://nojhan.github.io/paradiseo/

 So maybe a new paradiseo port should be created for its latest release and
 the eo port should be [wiki:PortfileRecipes#replaced-by marked]
 `replaced_by paradiseo`.
