 Here is how we worked around this in another port:

 I'm not sure if that was the right fix, whether it would work for this
 port, or whether changing the deployment target instead would have worked.
 I don't know whether deployment targets having more than two dot-separated
 numbers are possible, but I think maybe they are? Obviously, setting the
 deployment target to 10.13.4 on macOS 10.13.x would make the port not work
 on 10.13.0–10.13.3, but it may be that that is already the case, and we
 probably don't need to care about outdated macOS versions; anyone running
 10.13.x should be running it fully updated.
