 Thanks! I didn't know a new version was available. Looks like I completely
 missed the release of 0.40.0 three years ago. Livecheck didn't find it
 because it was checking for .tar.bz2 files and they switched to .tar.xz,
 so your update should fix the livecheck too.

 Updating cairo (and first cairo-devel) to 1.18.0 is desired; I've recently
 been asked if I could do that; but as you know that requires switching to
 meson (#66852); my lack of familiarity with meson makes me reluctant to do
 that update but if you want to tackle it please do!
