 I had a few minutes this morning and solved the verbose_abort minor issue
 for clang-16. That has been pushed and -- hopefully -- that will be the
 end of that.

 I'll push that fix to clang-17 soon enough, but clang-17 is already not
 used so there should be no errors there.

 What is wrong with clang-15? I haven't been keeping up with the clang
 front so much since I abandoned them to Chris a few years ago, but I
 thought he had been keeping things going. Is there some actual issue with
 a clang-15 related failure on 10.13 you can point to?
