 clang-16 appears to be a red herring. I at first thought the build may
 have corrupted my disk.

 I've just bisected the error and it seems that
 [changeset:7931cadd0a66ae89ee74c57fb2918f81f1ca5053/macports-base base
 commit 7931cadd] is the first commit that shows the error. I cleaned tree-
 sitter-java each time. Tested on Sonoma
