 FWIW, I think I had a renewed interest in PulseAudio a few years back to
 see if it would allow me to have remote sound when working over a VNC
 connection. I never managed to get that to work, possibly because I don't
 feel like running Avahi in addition to Apple's own ZeroConf/Bonjour (see
 the zeroconf init error in the terminal output I copied).
