Comment:

 The log says:

 /opt/local/bin/glibtool: line 8977: /usr/bin/gcc-4.2: No such file or
 directory
 }}}
 So it was libtool that was doing that; nothing specific to the t1lib port.
 This libtool bug is being tracked in #61243.
