 OK, I’ll check gedit again specifically. It looked just fine last I
 checked, though.

 What system are you blurry on? Can you post up a screengrab?

 BTW, homebrew builds everything +quartz , so if there is ever any systemic
 issue they quickly resolve it with upstream.
