 kdelibs4 is quite broken now too, so if you want this software any time
 soon,  I would just install UTM and a VM of debian (I'm using debian 12
 arm64 with UTM myself).

 Then configure it how you want (I am using Plasma and WayLand).

 Then you are state of the art, with kde5 and can install anything you
 want.
