 That will not work for ppc (including on 10.6.8 Rosetta, of course), but
 even ignoring that, platform restriction should be there. Perhaps for
 Intel 10.7 SDK it is be used, with a hack from `libsdl2-snowleopard`. I
 cannot test it though.
