Comment (by ryandesign):

 As in #70545, archive.org is delivering an uncompressed tarball instead of
 the gzip-compressed tarball we expected. This needs to be reported to
 archive.org so that their server administrators can fix the configuration
 of their servers.

 The file we have on our mirrors is still the correct one.
