 I am unable to reproduce this locally. Can you try these steps to
 reproduce:

 - does normal aws usage work?
 - does `PAGER=cat aws s3 help` work?
 - what's the log output of `PAGER=cat aws s3 help --debug`
 - the above should mention mandoc or groff under the `awscli.help` logger,
 which one is on your path, what version is it, and did you get it from the
 system or from MacPorts?
