New description:
Aloha.
I'm trying to install gnumeric but keep running into dependency faults.
The first was cython-310 so I re-installed python310 and got past that.
Now I seem to be running into another. My build environment is up-to-date
(AFAIK).
Sequoiia 15.1.1 on M2
Xcode 16.1 with update CL tools
The error is below, but I feel like I'm chasing my tail. Next step would
be to remove macports and re-install but it seems like this is becoming
the only way to resolve anything. Any advice would be welcome. I really
don't want to go through a multi-day re-install if it can be avoided.
The log file just tells me that my build environment is likely at fault as
listed below the console output.

Comment:
What was the solution? Does something need to change in the port? If so,
can you attach the `meson-log.txt`?
