 Interestingly, that missing symbol is the one I have seen missing before
 too:

 I suspect the full story has yet to be told about this. There have been
 symbols removed from libstdc++.dylib over time by gcc. I will bet this
 turns out to be one of them, or at least turns out to be guarded at times
 in some way for certain c++ standards.
