New description:

 MacPorts 2.10.5 \\
 Sonoma 14.7.1

 Opening a new session crashes with the following error that seems to
 indicate a conflict with nxproxy, or possibly some x2goclient issue
 parsing the version of nxproxy?

 I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both x2goclient and nxproxy.
 The error persists.
