Comment:

 You didn't mention what version of MacPorts php you're using, but all you
 should need to do to get the intl extension is install the appropriate
 port. For example if you're using php83, just install the php83-intl port
 and then restart your web server. You shouldn't need to load extensions
 manually by editing php.ini, and if you've done so, that may interfere
 with the automatic loading. If it's not working, let us know (probably on
 the mailing list, as Rainer suggested, is best) which of the several web
 server options you're using.
