 @kencu as an update... with this patch, I got all gtk relative packages
 working on 10.5 and 10.6 64bit (less luck on 32bit!) and GIMP starts up,
 loads images... so pretty powerful!
 Unfortunately, I still have the issue where on 10.5/10.6 I get no text, so
 it is not really usable, but I guess it is not because of these gtk
 things. So in any case it is promising.
 THe text thing is a year old issue, that on 10.7 solved by itself luckily,
 but still irritates me, I'd like GIMP on my MacBook.
