#71609: Which MacPorts version to use on Panther?

 Not my personal concern (and no worries, I have no plans to add any
 10.3-related fixes), but some users seem to be interested in trying that
 locally.
 Does anyone know which version to use? Preferably something that was known
 to actually worked rather the one prior to formal dropping of 10.3, since
 these may not coincide.
