 Because darwinbuild has NEVER WORKED in the 10 years I have been involved
 with MacPorts, ever, at all -- and who knows when (or if) it ever worked
 before that -- we don't want push more broken junk to the main MacPorts
 tree.

 If you would like to start a working group to see if darwinbuild of any
 ilk might someday be resurrected, that sounds fine -- people can work away
 on it.

 But please only bring something back to macports if it actually really
 does work on at least a few machines supported by macports.

 There are a number of ports currently in the tree that have been added
 over the past year or two that are just junk, and although they may be of
 interest to a couple of folks, the main macports repo is no place for
 them.

 libdispatch-legacy, xdarwintools, libcxx-powerpc, and others --- mostly-
 non-working, unmaintained noise.
