 I want to point to another thing that might be tied to this issue … I’m
 not sure, if I should mention this for ffmpeg or libvpx.

 But, because of this harfbuzz tripping hazard ffmpeg can't be rev-
 upgraded. So ffmpeg won't start and claims libvpx.8.dylib is missing, and
 yes, it is missing, now there is a libvpx.9.dylib, symlink libvpx.dylib
 points to that. If I additionally symlink with a manual created
 libvpx.8.dylib, ffmpeg starts. Of course I want to avoid that.

 +universal, wine(-devel), its dependencies, harfbuzz, meson and … (a
 needed) ffmpeg – all together a dizzying carousel ;-)
