 because updating meson for tiger is a rather big job, I tried the
 expedient fix of holding a few ports back to the last working version on
 Tiger, but these holdbacks are being rejected.

 So these ports will remain broken until somebody does the project of
 updating meson for Tiger compatibilty.

 So far that has generally been me, but I see Evan did an update a couple
 of years back. He hasn’t been around much lately, though.
