 strange, this works -of course- fine for me locally and also the buildbots
 seem to have no problem with it. The only thing I see in your logs is the
 presence of {{{py312-pyproject_hooks}}} where the issue originates. I do
 not have that installed nor is it needed for the package, can you please
 try to deactivate that or install in trace-mode and see if that works for
 you?

 By now the buildbots should have build the package and you likely can just
 get the binary, which should work - or is there anything special in your
 setup that you always build from source?
