 Just to be sure, I can confirm that glib2 does build with gcc-14 on
 Leopard (only PPC tested).

 This raises the question about why the type errors are showing up in
 Tiger. There are a number of patches and hold-backs that happen here and
 there for certain systems, and these are always rather nebulous and under-
 tested, frankly.

 Something about the way glib2 is building on Tiger is different. And that
 may not be good.
