 Schamschula writes in #69320 that on `Snow Leopard, Mac OS X 10.6.8` it
 works fine…

 I think `Snow Leopard, 10.6` did not run on PPC, neither G4 nor G5 (not to
 mention G3). Besides, on `PPC Tiger, Mac OS X 10.4.11` I had no problems
 with `Python 3.11 modules`!

 My knowledge of Python is minimal so I cannot be of great help. (And I am
 going to boot into Tiger to build gcc10-bootstrap and try building
 poppler.)
