 Yes, that is all correct.  That `ls -go` followed by grep was supposed to
 show that, but that was a bit obscure, sorry.

 The meson sym link was put in by the **meson** port.  It was expecting
 that py312-meson already existed in the same directory, but it is not
 there.

 Also to clarify further, my custom prefix is `/Users/dallured/port/291`.
 Everything is supposed to be installing under here.  This has worked out
 quite well for hundreds of ports, but it hit this meson thing today.
