 What about ports that link to libsoup directly, like midori? I just
 rebuilt that one with `libsoup{,-2.4}` both present, and the build system
 picked up libsoup-2.4 . Or port:epiphany .
 This might not be a problem if the library was written with the
 possibility in mind, provided that webkit2-gtk keeps its soup "in-house",
 but does it?
