 @kencu, thanks.  Would you please trigger rebuilds for 14.x86 and 14.arm
 on Macports builders?  Let's see whether some underlying change has fixed
 those failing builds.  I have my suspicions, but do not want to further
 speculate.

 If either fails, please catch config.log if possible, and post here.  That
 is the part where I have no visibility.
