 In other words, it looks like
 - {{{SDKROOT=......}}} fails consistently, but
 - {{{-isysroot=.......}}} works fine, and
 - {{{...../MacOSX.sdk}}} is much preferred to {{{...../MacOSX14.sdk}}}
