 According to [https://go.dev/wiki/MinimumRequirements#macos-ne-os-x-aka-
 darwindarwin the Minimum Requirements document for Go], macOS 10.12
 (Sierra) or newer requires Go 1.7.1 or above; thus, setting platforms to
 darwin < 16 for the `go-1.4` port would be more exact.
