 Yes, I'm aware of this! I have a local version (0.23.0) installed on my
 machine, but it requires {{{py-numpy}}} 2.0.0. See:
 https://github.com/macports/macports-ports/pull/24540 and #70251

 In the meantime, I'll see if I can add py312 to the old version that is
 still compatible with  {{{py-numpy}}} 1.26.4.
